As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on many different funding sources – a major one being donations. We could not operate without donations from private donors and businesses – thank you for investing in our mission!
Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer with us. You can teach a special skill, talk about your job, or help with an event! We would love to have you join the OC family and give our participants new and exciting opportunities and experiences.
Join the Team
Working at the OC is rewarding, fun, and flexible. If you are interested in human services or working in nonprofit, we’d love to get in touch with you about joining us!
Our Direct Support Professionals take the people we serve out into the community twice a day, doubling our efforts from last year – and we need YOUR help to do it! The price of gas, vehicle maintenance, and mileage reimbursement are unavoidable expenses, and as a nonprofit organization, we need your investment.
If 10 people sign up for $10 monthly donations, we will be able to continue our efforts to take each of our participants into the community at least twice a month.
There are many ways to volunteer with the Opportunity Center. We are always looking for people with unique skills to teach to our participants. Do you sew? Play piano? We’d love to have you! We also need people to talk about what they do in the community. Do you work in banking? Construction? We’d love to have to talk about your job at the Opportunity Center.
There are also several events that require volunteers, like our annual Boo Bash Halloween party, Spring Fling Formal, and Boo Bingo, just to name a few.
